[Duplicated]Custom search engine as default

Hello, I have looked through the browser settings, and cannot find an option to set my custom search engine (brave.com) as default.
I have read some posts discussing this issue, however theyre very old. Is there any option (or at minimum an editable configuration file) to set a custom search engine as default?
