I just launched Opera and was informed that it took it upon itself to disable one of my extensions. I clicked the message to go see which one was disabled and it's Tampermonkey. I have never had an issue with the extension and honestly would have preferred being warned and asked if I wanted to disable it or not. So have to ask if there is a config that I can edit to disable this behavior in Opera.

I do expect a reply to this, cause I'm sure there is a way for the enduser to disable this behavior in Opera. It is unacceptable for the browser to decide for me what is or isn't safe. I will make that determination.

@locutus As said, there is no way to disable it.

If you use Tampermonkey from Opera store, it won't be removed.

@leocg Good to know but doesn't answer the question. There must be a way in config to disable this behavior.

@locutus The first line is the answer, you can't disable it.

You can use https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/tampermonkey-beta/gcalenpjmijncebpfijmoaglllgpjagf instead. It shouldn't be blocked.
