Please remove wrong automatic suggestions or add option to disable it.
I was trying to search for a product's article number (thousands of them per month for my editing job) and I always get wrong search results as shown
Search terms:
"388549-01"
"387544-02"Opera results:
.
.
.
When I should be getting this right away when I hit Enter:I also get wrong unit conversions when I am using a search term for a recipe when my intention is simply looking for an alternative for an ingredient; not a unit conversion!
The most inconvenient part is that the incorrect results gets copied to clipboard; replacing the product code I copied from a very long list of spreadsheet, making me search for it again from the sheet and repeat the search.

Just switched over to Brave and all the issues I have with Opera is now solved.
- no splash screen
- no automatic wrong search results
- extensions sync, finally
- drag and drop texts across tabs
- faster browsing
- less cluttered interface, few icons in toolbar
- extremely easy sync setup, no separate passphrase for sync
- settings page is easier to navigate, huge icons
Been using this browser for decades and I finally feel liberated leaving it. Bye.

I had exactly the same complaint regarding the feature yet in pre One version.
I thought they listened the feedback because later a flag appeared which allowed to turn off options you don't need.
But now the flag disappeared and the options were not implemented.
