Leading white space in code block gets removed

For some reason, empty lines and spaces in front of the first line in a code block is removed by Opera.

Aria is not aware of this. For example, ask Aria to display an ascii picture of a house and you get:

/\ 
  /  \ 
 /    \ 
/______\
|      |
|      |

I don't think leading white space should be removed by Opera, but if the developers think Opera should, then Aria should be aware of this and work around it.
