Password is being displayed as suggestion when clicking on the username box

When logging into a forum, my password is being displayed as a suggestion when I click on the username box because I accidentally typed it there previously. How do I delete the suggestion?

@steve7474 Highlighting the suggestion and clicking on the X on the right or using shift del didn't work?

Thanks. Shift+del worked.
