I can't get opera gx to stop trying to install opera setup

I installed opera, then installed opera gx but every time I open opera gx it attempts to install opera setup again, how do i stop it?

@artificerprogram I guess something went wrong during the installation. Or the shortcut is pointing to the wrong executable.
I would uninstall everything and install again.
