mega.nz downloads ask for a decryption key

for the past few weeks, I've been attempting to download things from mega.nz. mega allows you to essentially share files, be it music, pictures, videos etc. through folders that anyone can create. I've always used it before without any issues nor problems, but recently I've come to a problem. Essentially, when I try to download anything using mega, be it files that people have shared with me or even my own cloud files, it says that I need a decryption key (that wasn't set on the folder, meaning there is no decryption key) or it just reloads the site. Before you say that I have to contact mega themselves, I have. We've been having a back and forth conversation and I've done everything they suggested, reloading my account, clearing cache, completely clearing everything about mega etc etc etc. and it's not worked. I tested downloading something with an incognito tab and it allowed me to download it without issues as before, so now I'm thinking that it has something to do with my actual browser, but I have no idea what. Any and all support will be appreciated.

@zephstuhh A link for a download where the problem happens would be a good start.
