middle clicking to open/close tabs takes more than one click to execute

i've had this problem once and i'm getting it again
for some reason, whenever i try to middle click to open or close a tab, it takes an unneccesary amount of middle clicks to process and execute the command. this issue can constantly stop and happen over and over.
this happens on opera gx and on chrome

@nyxo-blob only takes one for me... might be a problem on your end...
Hate to be that guy, but have you tried restarting your computer? It'll free up some memory. -
