How can I remove the Yandex search engine from Opera for Windows? I have the Ukrainian localization installed in my browser, and this search engine just doesn't make sense. It can only be made "standard" like Rambler (which also does not work in Ukraine). If not, when will it be possible?

@tuyturu If you are talking about the one in start page/speed dial, you can hide it in settings page.

@tuyturu Now, if you are talking about one of the pre-defined search engines, they can';t be removed or changed and I don't think Opera has plans to allow to do it.

@leocg Why? Isn't the point to delete and add at will?

"Free" browsers must earn their revenue somehow... continuing development costs still must be paid. One way to do this is to rent out preferred placements in the browser to various paying service providers, such as operators of certain search engines. Usually, such arrangements preclude user-removal of those placements.
