Very funny bug that I got today from using Aria. I have never spoken in any other language for this conversation. No I didn't change language to German or anything.

It doesn't matter if I specify English, or any language, aria consistently responds in German. I might speak more than one language but German isn't one of them. I started using Aria maybe an hour ago. I've used a lot of different ai options (that are free) and this has never been an issue. There isn't a way (to my knowledge) to set the output language. It's just... odd. I think the first conversation with aria was in english but I may have had to ask it to respond in english. I'm not in Germany nor visit German websites (nothing wrong with the language, it's just not one I currently understand.)

I'm confused about this as I don't speak Czech and nothing is set to Czech anywhere in my Opera or system settings. How can I set this to English?

Aria just insists on speaking French for some reason. Is there no way to change the language to English? I don't see any setting like that

Aria does not respond to me in my default language (Spanish) without me specifying it in the message I send it.

I have a similar problem. Aria was using English, but lately (probably after an update?) has started responding to everything in Italian. I have to tell it to repeat every reply in English. I even got it to agree to use English for all future replies, but it reverted to Italian anyway. Is there a setting for the language Aria uses, or is this just some annoying bug?

Hans from Holland,
Suddenly Aria changes into Swedish. The standard language of Opera is Dutch and English
The VPN is however changing to another country. Maybe that is the reason for the sudden Scandinavian answers.
How can I change this.
Thanks for the tips on forehand -

A couple of updates ago, Aria suddenly appeared in French. I didn't worry about it because I don't use Aria that often, and I assumed if it was a problem the next Opera update would solve it. But it hasn't! The update this morning still left me with Aria in French, while I am in Australia and have an English browser. I haven't found any way to change it.

I might just back everything up and do a clean reinstall, seems to be the easiest way to solve it. I do have Google set to give me answers in French and provide French links so that might be it.

Aria is using some other language to answer my questions and if I asks it to change language it changes language but instead of answering repeats my sentence.

I am using Opera on Desktop (Win11 x64) with the base language Slovak (Slovakia). Aria translates texts from English to Slovenian (Slovenia). I do not know the Slovenian language and have never read pages in Slovenian.
