For a few months now, all the new versions of Opera have been having the issue that if you click mouse 3/scroll wheel so you can use the auto scroll feature, it'll be really laggy and stuttery.
It's present on every website and even within the settings page.
I tried a bunch of different solutions; I even tried changing the "angle graphics backend" flag but nothing fixed it. The flag helped out very slightly but it still didn't feel smooth at all.

I'm currently on the last version that doesn't have that issue which is 98.0.4759.39. The problem though is if I keep sitting on that version then I'll miss out on potential security updates etc.

I found someone else having encountered the same issue here:
      https://forums.opera.com/topic/62843/scrolling-autoscrolling-stutter-issue-after-an-update

I also submitted a bug report with videos showcasing the issue between the old and new versions of Opera around 1 month ago and I'm constantly checking the changelogs for Opera One's versions, but so far it hasn't been addressed.

I really hope it's being worked on and not just ends up being ignored.

Same issue. Got this problem after 95.0.4635.88. Currently using 95.0.4635.88 because of this problem. Changing angle graphics backtend to D3D9 solving issue but CPU usage is skyrocketing some websites while using D3D9. Please fix that issue.
