VPN isn't changing my location

VPN doesn't hide my location?

I wanted to check how my Patreon page does look from asia and it does still show me my page in German. Patreon.com does automatically change to the language from your location.
it was a private tab with VPN from asia.

So who can explain me this?

@drackendarck The site is probably guessing your location wrongly.

It can also be using information stored in cookies, so try deleting them.

@leocg I clearly wrote, I used a private tab, private tab does NOT use cookies, a private tab should always start with an empty cache and empty cookies.
