I'm getting a new PC, but like my current browser (OPERA 12). Can I download that from the Opera website? or can I drag it onto my external hard-drive and then on to the new PC (how do I make sure I get all parts?)?
OR: can Opera 25 be figured to provide the same features, such as keystrokes, browser mail, etc?

Opera 26 does not have all features from Presto however it is a wonderful browser.

what do you mean: that I can download Opera 12, or that I can drag it over; or that opera 25 has the same features?

Author, I'm glad to see a guy who hasn't lost the possibility yet.
Right away - while there's no crap on your harddrive - check the system what you've got.
If there is a large and empty partition/drive/disk there - format it and partition it in two or three. Next you can get to our Lounge to talk about dual booting - two separate OSs on 1 device. For now I'll just tell you why.If your new machine has a preinstalled Windows >7 (8 or further), old Opera might not work on it correctly - that's why I want you to consider a possibility to have one more OS on (like Linux - for which Op.12 is still actual) in order to retain your Opera you like that much. Though it won't be available for launch while you're with Windows 8blabla booted.

"Opera 25" (like all other "Operas" since number 15) is an entirely different browser. To the extent that you can consider forgetting most of the old features.

Hey, Sidney, I don't say he (she) will - I say he (she) might consider the possibility in future - in order to do which it's the best time to think about keeping some non-littered room on his (her) harddrive**

what ARE the features of Opera25? Does it still provide browser e-mail? Does it still allow keystrokes (such as "z" for back)?
I'm interested in PC features.

No, you can download standalone email client.
Does it still allow keystrokes (such as "z" for back)?
You have advanced keyboard shortcuts (there is the shortcut you want) which you have to enable in settings.

Well, I'm about to blow away Opera 25. I'm sick of "the Adobe Acrobat plug-in has stopped working" - when clearly it hasn't.
Whether I reload 12 is still to be determined. It's at best a short term fix. Vale Opera.
