If I have a window that has only a one tab and I move that tab to other window, the window is not removed, instead a new window with "empty" tab is created.

It should not work like that. If the last tab form window is moved some where else, then that window should be removed. Do not create a new one there. Quite basic.

I really don't understand what the actual f the Opera developers are doing. How in the hell they can break basic things like this? All the time. Is there any alpha/beta testing done? This has been quite disappointing for a while now. Operas are denigrating fast. There are still some features that keep me using it, but mostly the reason I don't migrate to some working browser is that I'm too lazy, and it is just easier to use what you have used to use.

When ever there is a new upgrade, I have a tiny little blink of hope that at least some issues with tabs would be fixed. Instead, we just get more. Frustrating.

Could you please start fixing the issues with tabs instead of adding them more issues and useless features with each new release ?

@khellstre It just happend to me after the last update. Same with ctrl + w. If i use it to close the last tap it just opens an empty window. This literally makes the browser unsuable for me. But if i look at other post and reddit, a lot of people just start gaslighting because they like the feature and i should like it to. Because an option for "Close Window if last Tab is closed" would be way to hard i guess huh?

But luckily we got a Custom Chess Browser.
Who needs tabs when we can play chess?

@masmont The fact that they rolled this update out without an option like that is absurd to me. Seriously, who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to not have the window close after I close out all the tabs I have open in another window? It's so annoying.

I was just gonna download and use an older version of Opera, but according to this user, even if you go out of your way to disable automatic updates an update will still be snuck in.

It feels as though they're changing things that don't need to be changed. At this rate I think I'm just gonna switch to a different browser.
