i believe it did so because theres an update but i dont want to do it and the red distracts me

It has been a few days that the latest opera 99 version pretends that I need a "security update", which simply points to opera 100.

Nice try, but there is no way I'll be installing that failed version.

Now, any idea of how to get rid of the annoying fake red "security" update ? Has anyone gotten rid of that using Ghidra or something ?
