Hi! Ive asked Aria to help me to change height of new Opera One tabs.
"How can Opera One tabs return to their original height (vertical size)? In Opera One, the vertical height of the tabs is larger than the height of the tabs in previous versions of Opera. I want the height of the tabs in Opera One to be smaller, because now it takes up too much space."First, Aria recommend me:
"Open the Opera One settings by clicking on the menu button in the top right corner and selecting "Settings".
Scroll down to the Appearance section and click on Advanced Settings.
In the "Appearance" section, find the "Disable padding above tab bar" option and enable it.
After enabling this option, you should notice that the height of the tabs has decreased."
But 1. Menu button is on the left top corner! 2. There is no menu "Appearance" inside menu.Next, I told about it to Aria. Aria says, that really it was mistake and recommend me: *Unfortunately, there is no direct option in the Opera One settings to change the height of the tabs. However, there are several options you can try:
Use compact mode: Opera One has a "Compact" mode that can reduce the size of tabs. To enable it, open the Opera One menu (menu button in the upper left corner) and select Appearance. In the Element Sizes section, select Compact and see if that tab size works for you.*
But there is NO section "Element sizes" (nor Compact mode switcher anywhere)!I told about it to Aria and Aria recommend me:
Sorry for the confusion in the previous answers. Opera One doesn't really have a specific option to resize tabs via the Element Sizes menu. I apologize for the incorrect information.I disapointed by this ocasion and totally Aria - its absolutely useless.
P.S.: Please, anybody alive help me to decrease the tabs size in Opera One? :))
