mfd-texas last edited byAria initially worked when I was using Opera VPN Pro but it had buggy disconnect issues so I canceled my subscription and turned off VPN. Aria did not work without VPN so I turned on the free Opera VPN and Aria started working again. Once working I asked Aria this!

@mfd-texas Yeah I don't believe it's regional restrictions. Other AIs work perfectly in Texas, and if it was an actual restriction it would be added to the list on the website.
I sure hope the development team is aware of this issue, but it's been nearly a year now so I think they just don't care. -

After reading FAW page As far as I can tell the US is not restricted. So I am assuming this is in error. Can anyone confirm this?Im also in texas lol

@ther0kid So I did what one the comments said and downloaded a separate vpn app and activated it which made the Aria ai work so idk if that'll help you too

Comrades, if you are having issues with Aria working, try adding the domain composer.opera-api.com to the exceptions of your firewall. The domain composer.opera-api.com belongs to the Opera Composer infrastructure, which supports the operation of their built-in AI Aria. This also works when adding the domain to your VPN routing rules. Glad I could help, friends!
