How to close 'New Windows' ?

Doing pretty good with version 25. Preferring to 'open in new window' for my twenty or so bookmarks, but unlike the tab choice of 'close other tabs', or 'close tabs to the right', I have to individually close my 'new windows', and I can easily wind up with six or eight open when I'm done. Fair amount of 'close clicking'. Any secret trick for closing 'em easier?

Too bad. Nice to see what I want to open, do so UP FRONT, without any 'extension' stuff installed...as in 'tabs to the front'...which I did try.

I forgot to point out [for any others that run the browser as I do], that if I park my cursor on the New Window Task Bar 'tabs', view the thumbnails of all them, drop my cursor to the SECOND FROM THE LEFT, park it on the Red X for that thumbnail... and begin clicking...I will clear all but my Home Page, pretty effortlessly. Had just hoped for something more...'elegant' ?
