Opera not saving search bar history

For some times now, opera is not saving my search bar history on any site. It's so annoying because i do a lot of research and it was easier when i could just click what i need. Is there a way to fix this?

@mac1000 So you type something on the address bar to be searched and when you click on address bar again, the search terms are not listed under recent searches?

@leocg Not the adress bar. Search function on sites and forums. Before it was always saved when i typed a specific letter. now it doesn't anymore
