A few days ago, when I open Opera GX, strange Arabic videos play without sound. When I turn the volume up or down, it shows that a video is playing, but I can't hear anything. I've tried looking at background processes, but haven't found anything unusual. I spend most of my time with Opera GX open, so I feel like it's part of Opera. I have also checked the extensions, and even after removing some that looked suspicious, the problem still persists. Also, videos that are played don't show up in my YouTube history, which makes it even weirder. I already reinstalled Opera, but I did it using the "Restore" option in Opera, and I'm not sure if it's the same. However, the problem has not yet been fixed. I always see these Arabic videos playing or weird Arabic tutorials, and it bothers me a lot that they play without sound, without my knowledge.

@ceens You downloaded an extension that makes money for its author by selling plays on Youtube. It's happened before. It my even be a copy of a good extension, repackaged with the video clicker added. (That is to say, there may be several versions of the same extension available, only one being the original.)
