Opera setup not opening

I am trying to install the normal Opera it is showing me this errors

@leocg Yes and before when I installed Opera GX not Opera its was working fine and the core version was something about (98.47 etc) and it was working fine but now it says i can't update Opera GX and I have to download the older version so rn i am using core version (95.0.4635.74) of Opera GX and I now also know that for normal Opera I also have to use the older version. I don't know why this is happening. Before the latest versions of both browsers worked fine, but now it says they are not compatible with Windows 7 and yes I am using Windows 7. Any fix? or I have to stick with the older versions of both browsers?

@leocg But how did the 98 version work before on Windows 7? And and when I open Opera GX and use it for a while it the Opera icon at the top left gets red and it says "Get the latest security update". What do I do with that? Since the latest version is 95 for Windows 7, I can't get it.

@raamishkhan420 Don't know why you are seeing that icon, but you can download the latest Opera GX version for Windows 7 and install it.

@raamishkhan420 Try uninstalling Opera GX and install it again.

Also try emptying your temp directory.

The version of "Opera crypto browser" offered by the official page does not install on windows 8!
in fact i am using a version of opera cryptobrowser downloaded from the softonic page, because the official page simply does not provide an installer that runs on windows 8! And they don't even give an explanation of why this happens! "everything is fine" they say!

Pd: opera portable doesn't run for me either!

@zamasupepe Um but what about Opera GX? should I download it from Softonic also? Because I checked now the version that Softonic is giving for Opera GX is older than the one I have...

@burnout426 Ok bro thanks so much for helping me out. It is mentioned in the Reddit post that you can download the updated version and use all the disable updates instructions etc. But how can I really know that there is a newer version for Opera GX so that I can upgrade it on Windows 7? Since it is not mentioned in the setups' links that this is up-gradable for Windows 7 or can be installed for Windows 7.
