Opera 99.0.4788.13 desktop standalone is crashing when a web site is loaded, and I click "Page information" icon (looks like a closed padlock at the top). It immediately recovers, and the message "Opera has recovered from a crash" appears at the top of a web site.
It happens right after I upgraded from Opera 98 to 99, did not happen with 98. It happens with more than one PC. I use Window 10 22H2. The bug report has been provided today. -

@slickopera No crashes here. Did you already check with all extensions disabled?

@leocg Yes, I disabled all (actually it was only uBlock), including Operas's own Ad Blocker. Clicking "Page information" icon closes the browser for a moment, and then reopens with a narrow horizontal pane at the top of the page with a message "Opera has recovered from a crash." It happens with my both PCs, at home and at work. They both have Windows 10 22H2. One is Windows home edition, another Professional.
Opera is portable version. This is definetely related to the Opera version. I discovered it yesterday at home. So this morning at work I had version 98. So I checked a few web sites using "Page information" icon, all worked fine. Then I upgraded Opera to version 99. Immediately those web sites started crashing after update when clicking this icon. -

@leocg Yes, just tried with a few web sites in private windows. The same thing. After the crash private windows does not restarts. Opera reopenes in non-private windows.

I cannot believe I am the only one person who has this thing after update to a latest version. Others probably just do not click that icon. I use it to delete cache on some sites that limit number of free articles, and deleting cache helps.

@slickopera It's expected that private windows aren't recovered after a crash.

@slickopera Try resetting the settings. Also reset flags if you have enabled any.

@leocg Resetting the settings did not help. However, resetting the flags did help. A few versions back I changed a flag, though I do not remember which one, and why.
Thank you very much! -

Ok, now I remember what happen: I wanted to remove the Opera Crypto Wallet extension. So I disabled the Native Crypto Wallet flag. That did the trick.
However, it triggers the crash in this latest 99.0.4788.13 version when clicking the "Page information" icon. -
