Hey guys, currently using Opera One and want to know how I can have two open tabs on two different monitors. Dragging a tab to another monitor doesn't seem to work 😞

@justnabus It seems to not be possible at the moment. You would need to open a new window and move it to the second monitor.

I definitely hope to see this as well. I do so a lot and though it may sound trivial it is very convenient. Feels very off not having the ability to do so.

If you are using Opera browser and want to have two open tabs on two different monitors, you can follow these steps:

Open Opera browser and navigate to the first website you want to have open.

Click and hold the tab of the website you want to move to another monitor.

Drag the tab away from the current window and towards the other monitor.

While still holding the tab, move your cursor to the top of the screen until you see a blue line appear.

Once the blue line appears, release the tab, and it will open in a new window on the other monitor.

Now you can navigate to the second website you want to open in the original window.

Repeat steps 2-5 to move the second tab to the other monitor.

If you are still having trouble moving the tabs to another monitor, you can try changing the display settings on your computer to extend the desktop across both monitors. This will allow you to drag tabs and windows between monitors seamlessly.

To extend your desktop in Windows:

Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings."

Under the "Multiple displays" section, select "Extend desktop."

Click "Apply" to save the changes.

Once you have extended your desktop, you should be able to move tabs and windows between monitors more easily.

@justnabus Hi! Dragging a tab to create a new window (to be able to move it to another monitor too) - fix is on the go!

@justnabus I've been using Opera for quite some time. After an Opera update, I'm now unable to move tabs over to another monitor. What's the fix? Will it be fixed? Otherwise, I need to move to another browser. Very frustrating. I was a happy camper here. However...
