Clicking on tab to mute mutes other tabs instead

This started happening here as well, so I think it's a bug in the recent update. It doesn't mute all other tabs though. As far as I can tell, the tab mute button controls the tab (on/off) that is two tabs before it.
Running 98.0.4759.6 on Win10.
A workaround is to right click the tab and selecting mute/unmute, but it's an annoying bug so it should be a prioritized fix.

Seems like I can't edit my previous post, but I wanted to add that as a workaround you can also bind a key to mute/unmute in the setting highlighted here:
opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts?search=Toggle+mute+tabThis currently works in the active tab which means you have to swap tabs to mute, but it can be easier than dealing with the context-menu.

Might have already had a report, but due to the lack of response I made a report on this ref. BS-54558.

It seems like you are experiencing a technical issue with muting tabs in the Opera browser. It's unusual for clicking on the speaker icon to mute all other tabs instead of the intended tab. As you have already tried restarting your computer and Opera multiple times, it may be worth trying to clear the browser cache and cookies to see if that resolves the issue. You can also try disabling any extensions or plugins that may be causing conflicts. If the problem persists, you can reach out to Opera support for further assistance.

Only way I can get my tab mute icon to work is to pin all my tabs. For me it only works on pinned tabs. I really hope there will be a fix for this soon.

@luminance88 I think they fixed them to work in the first workspace. Mute button in other workspaces will work as you would click in the first workspace so if you click speaker icon on 1st tab in 3rd workspace then 1st tab in 1st workspace will be muted/unmuted instead.
Still bugged.
