Do you use any extension? If so, try with them disabled to see if the problem still happens.

Do you have any AV, Anti-Maalware or similar? Try a little with them disabled too.

I tried what you said and it's the same thing.

What about a clean (stand alone/usb) install? Try it and check if the problem persists.

I don't want to do a clean install because I don1t want to lose all my stuf on speed dial and stash. I hope you understand.

Run the installer and choose the standalone/usb mode. You may need to change the install path.

You have a shit called Baidu PC Faster in your PC.
Last time I've saw it in a PC it actually had slow down it badly.

The Speed Dial tab stays blank forever or does it finish loading if you give it time?

My friends, I solved the problem. I uninstalled Antivirus and Baidu Baidu PC Faster. Opera is now working perfectly.
                      Which antivirus I use now?

                          Hahaha. 🙂

                          I recommend Avast! or Avira.
They're free and do well in AV-Comparatives, etc, and they have a simple no-nonsense UI and features.
