Auto play cant be turned off on android device

i have a android tablet running opera browser and the video autoplay is on every time i go to a webpage with a video even though i have turned it off many times before. there doesn't seem to be a config page in the options of opera
How can i stop every video from starting up?

@dwwo As far as I know, there is no setting for it.
