Every Opera upgrade makes every website think I have a new device

Could somebody please fix the code causing a website to think I have a new computer every time Opera gets an upgrade? It's very annoying especially for the ones using two factor authentication.
Bug report filed, along with a complaint about the stupid requirement to attach a screenshot to every bug. BS-50140

Hmm, once you verify a device on a site, it usually stores that in a cookie. Unless the site looks at your Opera User-Agent string and notices a different version and considers that a new device (possibility), you should be fine until the site itself expires the verification (each month for example).
Are you seeing any signs of cookie loss or general session loss after an upgrade?
Is this with every update or just when updating to the next major version of Opera?

@burnout426 Yes I thought it should be cookies. I don't restrict any cookies, and I've never noticed any missing.
I see it very often, it must be every update. Next time it happens I'll suggest to the site they shouldn't be checking the version number of the browser, as they often change!
