How to cancel my Opera VPN Pro subscription?

Hi @curisde! You can cancel your subscription by going to the Manage your subscriptions page in your Opera account. Pressing Manage next to your VPN Pro subscription will take you to our payment provider's website where you'll find the option to cancel your subscription.
If you originally bought it on Android, cancelling needs to be done on Android too, as it requires being logged into the Play Store account associated with your subscription.

I tried to buy the VPN pro, but my payment status is unknown and has been for several days now. I would like to cancel the subscription to be sure that I'm not being charged incorrectly and so I don't have to check my banking app every day. Any ideas? Thanks

If you purchased VPN Pro on desktop, this sounds like a payment issue in Nexway's system. Nexway is our partner who sells VPN Pro subscriptions on desktop. In most cases, this error ("Your payment status is unknown. Please wait. The status will automatically update on a regular basis.") means that your payment method couldn't be verified, and your subscription wasn't created. In other words, there is nothing to cancel, and you don't have to worry about any unexpected payments!
That said, if you'd like us to confirm that you definitely don't have any VPN Pro subscriptions, please contact VPN Pro Customer Support from your Opera Account email, and we'll check that for you.
If you need help subscribing or finding out why your payment method couldn't be confirmed, please contact Nexway Shopper Support through this contact form. A member of Nexway support staff will be better equipped to assist you with diagnosing the payment issue, or creating your subscription.
Alternatively, you can also purchase VPN Pro on your Android device instead, if you have one — these payments are operated by Google Play Store.

Unable to access the page to cancel my vpn pro subscription.
When I log in, it redirects me back to the login page. It does not allow me to log in.

You cannot cancel the subscription. There is no manage button as instructed by its homepage so you cannot cancel. Even when you send the nexway, the supposedly responsible company for all things payment, a request, they simply sent me an invoice while the money has been transferred out of my account. I am going to write about this everywhere until I get my money back. This is not a practice I expect from a well known browser like Opera.

@DominikaB There should at least clearly have an "unsusbscribe" button in your account management page. What is the purpose of that page anyway if you are not going to have a button that allows users to unsubscribe? I feel like I have been robbed and I also dont trust Opera with any of my personal information. Please follow up as Nexway support is slow and unresponsive. Get to work and stop delegating.
