I am using Opera Developer 26 on Linux and there is no Menu bar and no 'Gear" icon like in chrome.
How do I get to the options and everything else?

Trt typing opera://settings/ in address bar. Don't know if Alt + P also works on Linux.

          Both work. Thanks.
I am using ZorinOS 9 (based on Ubuntu 14.04) and there is no Menu bar or Opera button though.
However, I saw someone with a screenshot that was allegedly gtom Fedora and they did have the Opera button for the menu.

Is the Opera button supposed to be there?

Hi @opticyclic: Please have a look here, maybe this workaround will work also in your case 😉

In Unity you should have a Gtk menu. Everywhere else you should have the Opera button menu. What does it say under the System section of opera:/about.

Could I also have a screenshot?

P.S. You can force the Opera button menu by starting Opera with --show-opera-menu but you would need to edit your .desktop file to make this permanent.
