When I search in the history for the site (for example) "reddit . com" it allows me to delete the URLs with that domain, I did it and it was deleted correctly and the rest of the history is still available, then I close the browser, and now I check the history again, and all the history is deleted!
I tried this solution on reddit:

      "

****In Opera, goto the URL opera://about and take note of the "profile" path and close Opera. In your OS file explorer, goto the profile folder and look for the "History" file. That's where your history is stored.

Now, do a test. Make a standalone installation to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop. After that Opera starts, close it. Then, copy the history file from your regular Opera profile to the "Opera Test/Profile/data" folder and choose to overwrite the existing "History" file. Then, in the "Opera Test" folder, double-left-click launcher.exe to load the test Opera. Once it's loaded, goto the URL opera://history.

If your history shows, then the file is still good and the problem is with something else in Opera, and we can go from there.

If your history doesn't show in the test Opera either, it means it's gone for good where the only way you can get it back is if you have a recent backup of the "History" file.

If your history is gone, we can go from there on checking a few things on your system to make sure your files are not actively getting corrupted.

Do you use Opera Sync though? If so, it could have been a glitch with Opera Sync that erased your history. If you don't use Opera Sync, I'm not sure what caused the history file to mess up. '

when i tried the history copy file on the standalone version the history was gone
so i just deleted the history file on both normal and standalone version
