Sidebar Whatsapp does not generate QR

Hi Everyone,
I have recently tried to login using the sidebar but when I try to do it the QR does not generate. it keeps on spinning like it's about to but it actually never does provide a QR. Any help?

@aurgelles18 What happens if you open it in a regular tab? And in a private window?

@leocg I tried to open Whatsapp web in a regular tab and it doesn't generate the QR either; however, on Google chrome I am able to open it
