Opera on mac keeps crashing after closing/deleting a workspace

Hello,
I was recently setting opera up on my pc and I closed a workspace by accident, which held the tabs on my mac. By deleting that workspace my mac still thinks the tabs are there so it opens, crashes, opens, crashes, until it eventually stops. Is there a way I can fix this.
