I sew that AVG antivirus has compatibility with some browsers but no opera.... so I was thinking abuout the compatiblity about opera in my MS 7 OS... I yes use MSE on seven OS, but I don't know if MSE works on opera browser?
Is there a safe-test webpage to test the compatibility?
Thanks!

MSE is a built-in part of Windows 8 and newer. It's working as a default system protection just like IE works as default browser.
MSE works on opera browser?
Yes, it's working totally fine.
I'm exclusively using built-in security in 8, 8.1 and now 10 and never had a single problem with it. -

Win8 and newer uses Windows Defender, don't? Altought they (MSE and Windows Defender) are basically the same thing.

Same here.

Jazei, were you not kidding about AVG?
There have been a number of reports that AVG has not played well with Opera, at least in the past. I know it was definitely an issue reported with Presto Opera at times. The problem seems to be episodic in time... that is, there will be spells when users report it, and periods when they don't. Usually it seems to have to do with over-aggressive heuristic detections of behavior or with a "bad" set of signature updates. There are also some other anti-malware software that seem to create Opera problems or peculiarities, Vipre being one of them.
