I used to be able to scroll the web page when taking a snapshot to take long screenshots, a feature I used a lot, but today I noticed that this was no longer possible, only being to snapshot what's currently visible on the display

Looking around the forum I saw similar posts from years ago claiming that this was a bug and was fixed in a later version, is this one of those cases? In which case I hope that the bugfix
      comes in a timely manner

I am currently on version 84.0.4316.31

Is this ever going to get addressed? Multiple times a day I try to use this feature only to get reminded that it isn't currently there

@aseldesu As already said, it's due to Opera have started using Chromium implementation of snapshot, that doesn't support taking pictures outside of the viewport.

@leocg so we lost an actually useful feature to make way for useless flair whose demographic doesn't even know Opera exists and just use Edge, Chrome or Safari instead, gotcha

think i'm just going to revert to an older version then

@aseldesu As also explained already, they need to adopt Chromium implementation to fix (major) issues on the snapshot feature that could lead it to become totally unusable.

@leocg Dude.. "Could lead it to become totally unusable" ? Ahah.. It is Literally Unusable now. Over 90% of the time I try to use this I cant because I cant scroll with it, so its pretty much 90% useless, almost to a point you can just remove the feature entirely because people who want the actual full usable functionality just have to download an extension that does the work correctly. Honestly what you wrote sounds like a load of corporate PR nonsense.
