Media Controls turned OFF for certain websites

Hello, this is a pretty niche problem and probably can't be solved, but I figured I would ask.

So I have been using the media player for my YouTube music because they don't have a desktop app and so far it has been great. I like using media keys on my keyboard, but sometimes whenever I have YouTube or Twitch open and press the 'pause/play' key or 'skip' key, it tries to pause youtube or twitch instead of the music.

My question is: Is it possible to only have the media keys function with the Opera music player?
