Could I tweak the opera windows to show URLs in unicode(UTF-8) forms?
Thanks a lot. -

Example URLs?
These ones show fine in Opera's address field.

That's right.
I wanna copy these URLs like above from Opera browser's address bar and paste into notepad.
And these URLs will show in the unicode(UTF-8) forms like Google Chrome browser does.

Below is my Opera's version info
Version:65.0.3467.78
Update Channel:Stable
OS:Windows 10 64-bit

Here, in either notepad (win 10) or notepad++ paste works as intended - it doesn't urlencode (these %numbers are urlencoded utf8 character) copied url-s.
Have you set displaying of full url-s on? (In O settings, search 'full', toggle 'Show full URL in combined search and address bar'.) -

@stanly1 I see what you're saying. Opera copies the raw text from the address field to the clipboard while Chrome copies the URL with the non-ascii parts UTF-8-percent-encoded, and you like Chrome's way better.
I see Opera is inconsistent with other Chromium-based browsers and inconsistent with Firefox. I don't know if Opera's way is intentional though. Will see if I can find out. And, I'll see if I can find a workaround for you.

For now, install https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/copy-page-url/dobnehimlklapeengfdlhdkpijhjdkag in Opera. Then, you can just right-click the page and choose "Copy page URL" instead of copying from the address field. Then, you'll get a URI like you want instead of an IRI.
