How do I block downloads in the browser?

I would like to block the downloads inside the browser because I let my computer to many people and I want to be sure anything strange is downloaded in it. I also can't let all the downloads in the computer to get blocked because I have other browser where I make other important downloads. If you could help I would be very pleased. Anyways, thanks for your help.

@fernandofregonaensucia You will have to find an extension or a third party software, maybe one of those for parent control.
