Sometimes it's necessary or helpful to start Opera with a command line parameter.
This is how you do it (Windows):

      1. right-click the shortcut you normally start Opera with
(1b right-click the Opera beta/developer entry if your shortcut is sitting at the taskbar)
      2. choose "Properties"
      3. In the Target-field add --name_of_the_switch=its_value behind the last "

You can have a look at Chromium's command line switches. A lot of them will work in Opera, too. 😉

There is no 'Properties' option when you right-click on the taskbar, which is the only place the current Opera is.

I think you are looking for this

Good news folks. We have fixed running with custom DPI settings.

Basically to run Opera with custom DPI use --alt-high-dpi-setting parameter. For example:

            100%: opera.exe --alt-high-dpi-setting=96
            125%: opera.exe --alt-high-dpi-setting=120
            150%: opera.exe --alt-high-dpi-setting=144
            200%: opera.exe --alt-high-dpi-setting=192
            250%: opera.exe --alt-high-dpi-setting=240

@jetro you need to execute 1b after 1 (it's the third item from the bottom).

@genegold There's a dedicated FAQ especially for that :ninja:
