Switch Tab Shortcut

Hi,
I usually use Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn to cycle between tabs and it works. The issue is whenever i open a new tab and want to cycle with the shortcut, it doesn't work.
The new tab "speed dial" does not allow for cycling to other tabs. Either i 1) close the tab, 2) change the tab manually with the mouse or 3) use another shortcut to change the tab like Ctrl+Number or Ctrl+Tab which is not practical for me.
Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome this limitation with Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn??
Thank you.

Hi @starrbuckk,
I have the exact same issue. Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn is the only way I swap tabs. Were you able to find an addon to have it fixed, or did you have to keep using the methods you described?
Thanks

Confirmed in all Operas on Windows 11. Pressing esc in the start page tab then allows the shortcuts to work.

This is fixed in Opera Beta (87) and Opera Developer (88), so once Opera GX hits 87, you should be good to go.
