Downloaded files disappearing?

Hi so I've been using opera since july this year and I'll download a photo for example, then a week or so later it'll be vanished from my PC without me deleting it. Is this a setting in opera that I can turn off or something?

@saintshiny As far as I know, Opera doesn't delete downloaded files, nor have a setting for it.

If you open the downloads folder, you don't see the files there?

@leocg No I don't. They're also not in my recycle bin so I'm unsure what exactly is happening to them.
