Opera (and other browsers) instantly crashing and closing upon being opened

This affects opera, chrome, and firefox, however not microsoft edge, does anyone know what this is happening and how to fix it?

@nodeathu Which browser is set as your default on that system? Also, when did this start happening (eg: what was done to/by the system prior to the onset of the problem)?
