Opera Update fails in Win8.1e

Have reported this twice and had no reply as yet for a fix.
I have manually updated to the latest version;
Version:81.0.4196.54
An error occurred while checking for updates
Update stream:Stable
System:Windows 8.1 64-bit (WoW64)And the update still fails!

@pcbugfixer It happens only with Bitdefender turned on? If so, what Bitdefender says about fixing the problem?

I said I am using "with Bitdefender Total Security installed." and not that it was causing the problem. No error pops up from Bitdefender.Are you suggesting that Bitdefender is the problem ?

@pcbugfixer I just made a question, since you mentioned the antivirus. Don't know if it's causing that specific issue, but antivirus (as well as firewalls and other security softwares) are known to cause such problems, so maybe it worth checking.

G'day leocg,I had previously excluded "Opera.exe" and "launcher.exe" from BitDefender so it obviously is not the problem.
Any other ideas ?
