Discord always logs you out

There was a post like this before, but that one was quite old. So i'm creating a new post.

Every day I have to login on discord (put my email and password) so i'm wondering if you can make it so discord can keep me logged in. I don't want to have to type my login credentials every time. Thanks

@memorycore Check your cookies settings and make sure that they aren't being deleted on exit.

@leocg Mine says "clear cookies and site data when you quit opera" is off but it still logs me out. i even set discord as Allowed to use cookies.

I'm having the same issue! This is specifically for the Discord app on the sidebar, one of the flagship features of the app. It signs me out not only when I close OperaGX, but when I refresh the page in the sidebar.
