      I want to mark part of a text from a headline. The headlines are links.

      Marking the portion of the text by holding down the left mousebutton and dragging does nothing.

      Letting go translates into clicking the link.

      This is a bug.

        Known, but not sure if it can be fixed ... as I recall it's a bug in Chromium. The only way to select part of a link as text is to start outside the link - which won't work if you want text in the middle of the link.

          I don't know about other things, but I just easily managed to select part of your nick in the middle, Steve (in Chrome). You start quite from above the text...

            Hi @snotspat: you can try the "Select like a Boss" extension, or "Fine Link Selector - to instal this one, you need first install one of the following extensions: "Extension source viewer", or "Download Chrome Extension" \m/ ☕
