Opera crashing in a Surface Pro X with Windows 11

I use opera a lot and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I currently just got a new Laptop (Surface Pro X to be exact) and set Opera as the main browser. I've had very frequent crashes and believe that it isn't the developer's fault. Windows 11 is a fairly new OS with a Windows 10 base to work off of. I do believe though, that this should get looked into soon. I don't know if it's just me but I'd like to use Opera without the frequent crashing. Thank you

@chris-neises I'm on Windows 11 too and I don't see Opera crashing.

@leocg I'll just uninstall and reinstall it. If it's just a personal problem then I will come back and confirm it was a me thing.

@lisahaley Uninstalling and reinstalling stopped most of the crashes from happening frequently but I still experience crashes. I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling to lessen the crashing amount.

Hello, i'm new here, I signed up especially for this problem, Opera GX does indeed crash on Windows 11 for me as well. Even more, downloading the installer doesn't work properly for months now (Win 10/ win 11), whenever I try to download the downloader remains stuck for ages! I allowed it in my firewall setting but that didn't solve the issue, and now when I open it, it crashes straight after the startup music. If anyone could help with some ideas or suggestions I would be really grateful.
