Opera Crashing when I start up upon updating to V80.

Hi there, I recently updated to v80 and my browser is crashing every time I start it up, it's sometimes even getting to blue screen my device. What happens is when I load it up I'm greeted with a white screen for a while, then the speed dial bit, but I cannot interact here, opera shows some of the tabs with a loading icon, but they do not move. After a while opera either closes/crash. Sometimes it crashes giving this error code "0x00012d" other times it will bleu screen my pc or just crash. I tried reading the crash report, but I have no idea how to read a .dmp file.
I think what caused it was perhaps me turning off snooze background tabs. I'm not sure though as the effect was not immediate (happened about a day after I turned it off). If this was the case, is there anyway to change the settings in the files and then try to relaunch? As I just cannot interact with the browser when open at all.
Like I said above, that's possibly one of the causes, but it might not be. Everything was working fine prior to v80 .
I've currently been trying to fix this for a day now and am thoroughly pissed off to say the least!
Thanks in advance
