Out of memory while streaming

I just got done reading the other thread about Opera running out of memory, and yes it was full of helpful suggestions were the system actually running out of memory. Despite that I never did read an actual solution besides "stop using all your memory, noob!"
I run HWMonitor all the time, and I haven't reset it yet today, but my opera has stopped playing HBO.com twice today saying it was out of memory and HWMonitor shows my peak system memory utilization at 53%. This is probably from my gaming session earlier as I'm streaming a movie again right now and my system memory utilization is at 24% (of 32GB). I don't use extensions. This isn't just a problem grandma with a system running 4 GB of ram is going to have when she has too many tabs open and I think it warrants a closer look.Windows 10 updates current 10/1/2021

See here:
https://forums.opera.com/topic/50730/win-7-opera-updated-to-78-0-4093-112-memory-being-chewed-upThe only sol'n for me was to downgrade to the 77 branch as both 78 and 79 exhibited the same issue.
I am able to use the browser normally again without "chunks" of virtual memory (in the hundreds of megs at a clip) being swallowed and not released.
I wonder about the 80 branch now,. if this memory management issue has been addressed..
I am reluctant to upgrade and test it out.

@ultraj considering it just happened, if 80 is the current stable release, then I was using it. Thanks for the heads up I'm going to revert to 77 right now!

@entropicsoul I am in the same boat and also did what ultraj said and went back down to the 77 branch which removed a lot of the memory usage issues i was coming up again. I was hoping the 80 branch would fix it but looks like its still exists.
