What exactly do you mean by "speed setting"?
Are you talking about the selection of different resolutions?
If so, that should be generated by the Flash Player, nothing to do with the browser.

On html5 player there used to be a setting to display the video on its normal speed or on a different one (half, double and so on). I guess the op is talking about this.

Well, i've tried a random YT video on some browsers (Opera, Chrome and FF) and couldn't see that speed setting on none of them. So i guess YT no longer uses it or not all videos allows the use of it.

You kidding me? Chrome has it normally this option, just opera is retarded. I'm changing browser..

go to youtube then : https://www.youtube.com/html5 Then click on Request the HTML5 player (sorry 4 english )
