Youtube 4k HDR not functioning with Opera browser as of recent.

HDR just recently stopped working on Opera Browser with my 3070ti EVGA graphics card.
I go to this video and have used this as a test with my 1070 as well.
4k drops frames and uses 100% cpu almost , and doesn't utilize gpu.
Edge plays the video just fine so it is an Opera problem.

@jstahliv83 The video plays fine here. It uses lots of CPU and there are frame dropping, but the video plays fine.

@jstahliv83 Try testing it in Opera dev 80.0.4162.0. Enable the chrome flag://flags/#static-tab-audio-indicator and restart the browser.

@leocg Thank you for checking. Because the frames are dropping , that indicates a problem thereby it is not normal.
I played this video a month ago with 0 dropped frames. I played it the other day and it drop so many frames it's choppy.
I played this on edge and it drops 0 frames. Hence Opera is not functioning as it did a month ago and is not normal.
https://youtu.be/njX2bu-_Vw4 this video is also 4k 60 fps HDR and doesn't drop a single frame. Both videos worked perfectly before this for me.
https://youtu.be/nCqDdsZY7RA drops frames as well in Opera right now where the entire video only dropped 4 frames on Edge. Just tested this.@johnd78 I will try the chrome flag now. Thank you for your help. Please give me more instructions I enabled development mode under extensions but cant seem to find the mentioned flag.

@leocg Also, You are correct, the video does play. I should have said HDR does not function properly instead of not functioning(at all) The dropped frames are the reason for this post. Thank you.

@jstahliv83 Here I got 85 frames dropped out of 18656, what is far from being a (big) issue on the video mentioned on the first post.
Got 4 frames dropped on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njX2bu-_Vw4
Regarding the flag, go to opera://flags

Theoretically, with this flag enabled, there should be no difference in CPU load between Opera and Edge. Note that this flag currently exists only in Opera 80.0.4162.0 Develper. -

@johnd78 How do I get this build? Is it in flags the click enable developer mode or somewhere else? Looks like it is a separate download. Will this issue be fixed on the current opera using in the future and I just have to wait?

I am using the portable Developer version for testing.

I do not know. I guess we'll have to wait for Opera 80 Stable.

@johnd78 OK, ty! The Dev build works perfect without doing anything. Just installing, going to video and boom, works perfect only 2 drops frames instead of 2000.... thank you all again!
