Cannot search in address bar

My browser cannot search when I type text in the address bar. With Google as default search engine and Opera for Windows. Is there anyone help me, pls! Thank so much!

@amtula What happens when you try to do a search? Any difference if you change the search engine?

Is your problem perhaps the same as this one: https://forums.opera.com/topic/50980/solved-the-combined-address-search-bar-is-no-longer-working/11 (which is not solved, despite being marked that way)?
